Steeez Step Up 2 My Fancy Food

I went last night with my good buddy who writes under the nomenclature Eeez over at our sister blog Steeez to go see this:

I’m not going to lie. I fucking LOVED it. But it should have been called Step Up 2 The Streetz, spelled with a Z not an S. That’s my only criticism.

Also because all people of my generation are capable of doing is emulating popular media (I mean, look at Columbine. That happened because they played violent video games, right?), the logical result is a dance off this Saturday. Expect to get a text with the location at the last minute so that you can run out of your school’s fund raiser and compete… in the streetz.

but not like dancing in the rain and making splashes with your flannel jacket awesome

Erin: but you have to legitimately win

me: well, obviously I will, because I believe in the power of dance and community
and you’re all caught up in the ego trip fame game
and also, you beat up my boyfriend

Erin: but no
i don’t wanna be the bad guys! you have to make up a new crew
come on
i know what mine is already
i’ll even tell you and give you a heads up

me: ok
I’ll come up with something

Erin: my crew will be an anti vegan crew called deadicated to seitan

me: cute! although deadicated to seitan does sound pro-vegan

Erin: oh wait
it’s steeez vs gmsc

me: true

Erin: that’s EXACTLY what this is

me: jesus

Erin: mmmmm seaweed crackas

me: I eat your fancy food

    I’m pumped about the 3D follow-up! After seeing that, I will finally be inspired to have my own dance-offs as well– IN 3D!!!
